“Christie’s Heart For Art Scholarship”

Hong Kong – Christie’s, the world-leading art and luxury business, has upheld a commitment to Hong Kong and its local art community over the past two decades. To further act upon our global equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and to build upon the successful collaboration with the Faculty of Arts of the University of Hong Kong (HKU Faculty of Arts) on previous art education programs, Christie’s is pleased to announce a donation of HK$300,000 towards the establishment of the “Christie’s Heart For Art Scholarship” for the HKU Faculty of Arts starting from the academic year 2021-22. The Scholarship aims to support social-economically disadvantaged students in exploring their career interests through various experiential learning opportunities in the art world.

A maximum of five scholarships will be awarded annually to the qualified full-time Bachelor of Arts students in the HKU Faculty of Arts who have secured a structured experiential learning experience in art-related organizations, based on various selection criteria such as a proven financial need, academic merit and, the quality and relevance of the experience to the student’s studies, etc. Students can also find more information on this scholarship opportunity at the HKU Scholarships website (https://www.scholarships.hku.hk/Scholarships/detail/660).
